Make a suitable level base. A hot tub has a significant weight, so a concrete pad is required as a base. It has to be at least 10 cm thick and have the size of the hot tub or larger, if you prefer to have space for walking around and place some furniture. Decking is another popular option for a hot tubi, as long as it bears its weight while being fully filled with water.
A hot tub also needs an electric supply. Electric requirements may vary according to the model, so make sure you check them carefully. You need to bring a qualified and certified electrician to make the electric connections between your electrical fuse box and the hot tub, and install the necessary accessories.
Finally, you must ensure water and drainage. A hot tub does not necessarily have to be plumbed; you can fill it with a garden hose. However, you surely need a nearby drain.
